WeddingsWeddings are held at St Luke’s by arrangement with the Minister. This involves a few meetings, some formal paperwork, financial cost, counselling and generally a rehearsal before the big day.It is not necessary to be a member or attend the church, however we welcome and encourage you to attend. The Foundation Church (old church) has been stripped of furniture and is used as a hall thus is not available for Weddings. Wedding BlessingsWe conduct Christian Wedding Blessings for people who generally have been married overseas and who want an Australian Christian Service without the legal requirements. On occasions we conduct Wedding Blessings for couples from Japan who have been married in a registry office situation overseas and want the experience of the traditional Christian Wedding Service in Australia whist they are visiting. Generally this is carried out through the auspices of Wedding Angel Australia (a division of JTB) in Market St Sydney. Renewal of VowsA Renewal of Vows Service may be arranged with the minister. |
